Welcome to Mucky foxy’s stay and play. We run on Thursday mornings term time at ditchling sports pavilion, off lewes road at the recreation ground. There is a free car park and close bus links. Drop in anytime between 10.15-1130 to see what we offer. Each week there will be different messy play and activities for you to enjoy with your children. 4 messy trays filled with mess and a craft table which can involve sticking, painting, Playdough or biscuit decorating all to be taken home at the end. There will always be the role play areas and toys out to explore plus we have a dedicated baby and sensory area with sensory baskets, lights and ball pool. There is a outside area which will be open whatever the weather so dress for the weather. Tea, squash and biscuits available throughout the session. More About Mucky foxy’s stay and play
I’m Jessica who runs and owns mucky foxys stay and play. I’m an experienced nursery worker and a mum to a toddler. I know that messy play has a massive impact on babies and children’s development and encourages them to be creative, imaginative and learn simple skills in a fun way. I also want to encourage physical outdoor play as much as possible so that’s why the outside area will be set up whatever the weather to encourage parents to let their children play outside in the rain and shine. I understand how busy a life can be looking after children so want to encourage parents/carers to come along with their children to have a few hours to spend with just each other without any other distractions.
